Bus Now Available for Local Trips

There is a new bus in the parking lot. It is now available for trips to the library, grocery stores or shopping malls and possibly to medical facilities.  This bus in NOT a taxi, but we will schedule trips to Wal-Mart and Target, Willowbrook Mall, and to other local spots.  Trips are limited to within a 15 mile radius.  Seating capacity is 11 (9 if a wheel chair is on board). 

Water Aerobics

Scheduled water aerobics is offered every Friday at the pool.  Attendance is voluntary, but encouraged.

Special Events

Events that pertain to information concerning resident’s health and well being are scheduled each month.  Check the monthly calendar for dates and names of the events.  Nothing is ever sold at these events, but one can always use the information to make their life or health better.
“Ice Cream Variety Days” (Milk Shakes, Floats, Sundaes, Banana Splits, etc), “Pot Luck Dinners,” and “Birthday Party Days” are scheduled and listed on the Calendar.

Cards and Bingo

Card games of various kinds and bingo twice a week are very popular activities that occur on a regular basis.  Some of the card games are actually “pick-up” games that happen when friends (new and old) get together on their own schedule in the Game Room or one of the “Conference Rooms.” 

Religious Activities

Individuals of various religions meet at scheduled times during the week in the week.  A non-denominational bible study and worship services are held each Sunday afternoon, beginning at 2:00 o’clock.  Access to the Chapel is available to all residents on a first come, first serve basis.

CD Movies and Specials

Classic and new movies and special performances by favorite artists are schedule periodically throughout the month.  These events are held in the common room and are open to all Residents free of charge.
